@michaelZfox That’s for sure important work. But as the gerrymandering cases have shown, there’s important work to be done at the state level. We have a state Constitution to guarantee rights and for too long, corrupt and/or lazy NY pols have gotten a pass as we federalize every issue.

@michaelZfox Every day, I hear about judges, prosecutors, and other officials in New York who disregard the law, don’t enforce rights, and use legal process as a blunt instrument to support their own ugly agendas for profit or blind ideology. That’s fixable in state law, it seems to me.

@michaelZfox Every time a judge and prosecutor collude to set bail just over what they know a person can afford as a proxy for an honest hearing on remand and ability to pay, our state and elected should open up ethics and impeachment inquiries. Simple as that.
